5 great books every woman should read

I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to books, and it can be anything from science to the latest fashion magazine. I get so engrossed in what I'm reading to the point that I get lost and become part of it. It's more like the feeling you get when watching a movie in 3D. I've made a selection of books that I think would be great reads for every woman looking for personal growth and motivation. Don't worry,...there's no science.

Steve Harvey comes to the rescue for women who still haven't got what the male species is all about. He tells it like it is. Great for women struggling in relationships, or for women about to get hitched. It tells what you're supposed to find out about your man before you say "I do".

I recently read this book, and it showed me how I had been ignorant of the true meaning of success for all 28 years of my life. If you're amongst the many of us who think that success is all about achieving your goals and making your dreams come true, then you need to read this book to find out what true success is.

Don't mistake this book and classify it as one for women dealing with broken hearts. It's about being conscious and aware of your emotions in every part of your life. Get ready to release those negative feelings that make you doubt yourself and awaken unconditional happiness.

This is your road map if you're twenty something years old. It takes you on a spiritual understanding of all the roadside stops or road blocks you may encounter on your life's journey. Each chapter ends with questions or things you have to reflect on and change in your life for both personal and spiritual growth.

A fun filled Christian book by a couple who give us an insight on how to play the dating game. The authors use witty, light-hearted humor and candid points of view to make you more comfortable with controversial issues. They change one's thinking about dating and marriage, showing you how to rid yourself of the "desperate", and instead to become "marriable".
